Mass Airflow Sensors (MAF) are responsible for reporting the amount of air entering a fuel-injected internal combustion engine. Air mass information is necessary for the engine control unit (ECU) to balance and deliver the correct fuel mass to the engine.
Symptoms of a failing MAF sensor include poor starting, engine surging, engine stalling, “check engine light”, and no-start conditions. MAF sensors are a non-serviceable part – we recommend replacing any sensors that are non-functional.
PRENCO’s MAF sensors are tested with the highest standards using sensitive equipment to ensure utmost reliability.
